Reflexology
Reflexology is a relaxing and effective way to alleviate stress, anxiety and to help the body to heal itself.
The theory behind reflexology is that areas of the feet and hands correspond to organs and systems of the body. Applying pressure to these areas can positively affect the organs and benefits the person's health.
Reflexologists like Karin work with clients to help treat a wide variety of chronic health conditions, including chronic shoulder and back pain, migraines, asthma, diabetes, and other conditions.
Several studies funded by the National Cancer Institute and the National Institute of Health indicate that reflexology may reduce pain and psychological symptoms, such as anxiety and depression and enhance relaxation and sleep. Studies also show that reflexology may have benefits in palliative care of people with cancer.
Karin works with each client on a personal, individualized way to pinpoint specific problems and help develop a treatment plan.
